  • RSGV –Resilient Seated Gate Valves are designed with a non-rising spindle and feature a ductile iron gate fully encapsulated in EPDM rubber. 
  • Accurate rubber moulding ensures low closing torques and an effective seal. 
  • These valves are suitable for clean water and have an operating temperature range of 0°C to 80°C. 

Characteristics

  • RSGV – Valves are clockwise to close (CTC) as standard, with clockwise to open (CTO) available upon request.
  • All internal and external cast surfaces are coated with fusion-bonded powder epoxy having a minimum of 250μm DFT.
  • Epoxy coating is WRAS listed for potable water applications and meets the requirements of BS 6920 for water quality testing.
  • Coating colour – blue RAL 5005 to potable water, red RAL 3001 to fire hydrant system.
  • Valves are offered as standard with manual operators (Cap top, hand wheel or bevel gear depending on size). Actuated options such as electric, pneumatic or hydraulic are available.
